Diego Sagredo

Graduated in Video Game Design & Development and currently studying a Master in Computer Graphics Virtual Reality & Games. These studies have given me plenty of experience with project management and version-control tools, as well as opportunities to work in a team environment.

My main focus is game development and real-time graphics programming, meaning that I have advanced knowledge and experience in 3D graphics APIs like Vulkan and OpenGL, game engines like Unity and Unreal Engine and several programming languages like C++, C# or GLSL, among others. I am quite experienced in using agile methodologies like Kanban.
I also have experience on 3D tools like Blender or 3ds Max/Maya, as well as image and video editing tools like Adobe Photoshop or Adobe Premiere Pro.

Professional Experience

4 months Internship - App Developer (.NET Core/C#)

Jan. 2020 - Apr. 2020

MyDance (Madrid, Spain) is a startup company dedicated to the creation and maintenence of a portal that connects both proffesional and amateur dancers.

My role:

  • Implement and improving key features, such as the notification system or the group admission control system.
  • Debugging and bug-fixing. Also, fixing the reported bugs from the Alpha testing.

Education

Computer Graphics, Virtual Reality & Games Master

2021 - Present

Universidad Rey Juan Carlos (Madrid, Spain)

Currently working on the final project, which is about the creation and training of a deep neural network that will be capable of simulating global illumination from an input that was rendered with local illumination. All of this with the goal of achieving simulated global illumination in real-time application.

Universidad Rey Juan Carlos (Madrid, Spain)

My final project was the creation of a GUI for the Unity Game Engine, that allows the user to implement intelligent behaviours for agents using Finite State Machines, Behaviour Trees and Utility Systems as nodes and transitions between them. The base functionality of these systems comes from an already existing API.
